Before I had settled on a name for my beekeeping venture, I was speaking with a good friend of mine.\u00a0 He was inquiring about my beekeeping activities at that time and I was telling him of all the equipment I had been constructing, swarm traps I had been building, setting out and checking for bees. I told him that all my efforts were in preparing the equipment and then waiting for the bees to come to me.\u00a0 \"You are borrowing vessels.\" he said.\u00a0 My mind went the story in the Old Testament (see passage below) as I considered his statement.\u00a0 I had to agree with him.\u00a0 \"Borrowing\"\u00a0all the vessels I possibly could put together and then trusting they would be filled.\u00a0 I told my wife of this conversation and she quickly said,\u00a0 \"There is the name for your bee stuff\"!\u00a0 So that is how the name\u00a0 \"Borrowed Vessels Beeworks\" came to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Kings 4:1-7<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1<\/sup> Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 <\/sup>And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 <\/sup>Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 <\/sup>And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 <\/sup>So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6 <\/sup>And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
